How do you search for good car workshops?
Q. How people get to know about their neighborhood car workshops and mechanics. First 2 years, nobody search for car workshops (in warranty period and free servicing) but everybody needs change in 3rd year. Do you search web or ask to your neighbour?

A. What about visiting to a car servicing web portal which has a network of good car workshops in New Delhi and Gurgaon. I've been learning to bellydance from videos,but want to attend class more often and workshops.?
Q. I'm too broke at this time to do it all though. How do you feel about learning from videos. And can I learn well from videos and classes? Can you learn pretty well even w/o workshops? Workshops are different from classes. Thanks!

A. My Belly Dance Teacher learned almost all her moves from videos before she was able to take classes. Also look into "open dances" and performances in your area. A lot of times they are free because they are for students, or the performances are in a restraunt as entertainment. Another thing to do is look for groups in your area that do belly dancing. Sometimes you can get together with others and just practice for FREE. Try Tribe.Net for your belly dancer needs lol. It will tell you about people and events in your area. I took classes first, but now I've moved were there is only 1 availible and the teacher teaches the moves great, but the class is quite boring so I don't go. I'm learning purley off videos. How do I find someone to sponsor my participation is festivals and workshops?
Q. I'm a professional artist--specifically a choreographer. It's very important for me to continue my education through workshops offered throughout the country. A. As a BFA grad, I would have hoped that you had a class about grant writing. My daughter's class (in her dance program) hands out a list of foundations that fund dance-related projects, including continuing education, and they practice writing grant proposals for them. You might want to contact your former dance program for such a list. You have a very nice web site. I especially love the line where you say, "Beauty is most effective when it takes people by surprise." I think that is very true.
